Making Firefox Faster
Sorry if this is old news, but if you use Firefox and you're surfing via broadband, then you're in luck! (I must disclose that I still haven't made the jump to Firefox. Yeah, yeah...spare me. I'm just being lazy) There's a nice trick to make your browser faster by changing the way it works. Firefox, by defualt, is optimized for dial-up connections (56k modems). It loads one thing at a time. However, this tweak will force it to load multiple things at the same time. Repeat after me: pipelining!
Click here to check it out, and be sure to let me know what you think!
(Oh, I'm sure I'll switch to Firefox soon) :)

Yeah it was old I think Dec 26 2004, but I had never looked at it before. Had to try it out and it seems to work. Easy to do too.
OMFGZ!!!!!11111 you don't use firefox!!!!!
You should. The look, feel, and customization options are well worth it.
There have got to be at least 600 reasons why Firefox is better than IE... Let me know when you have a few hours and I will teach you about it son :)
Ok, ok. I just downloaded it. I was happy to see that it would import all of my favorite/bookmarked sites. However, it jumbled them all up, and now I have to re-sort them. Strike one! Just kidding. :)
Fonts in IE7 are better. I'm still giving Firefox a chance, though.
Hello? Get on the bandwagon Tristan. And yeah, this is about 3 years old but a nice trick.
Need a reason to switch? Extensions. AdBlock, Mouse Gestures, Session Saver, IEView, and GMail Notifier are some that I use.
If you develop any web sites, Firefox is a must the Web Developer toolbar is fantastic. It needs a zoom feature like ie7...
